Laird John

I’m a Scottish Landholder. As a friend of Laphroaig (Scotch), I just received one square foot of the Scottish Isle of Islay through a lifetime lease (plot #419647). If I show up to the Laphroaig Distillery, I can collect my rent- one dram of Laphroaig Scotch per year.

(OK- The official definition of Laird is land-OWNER, but by other looser definition a Laird can be just a landholder so work with me here.)

Did I mention I love Scotch?

-Laird John

(A Laird (pronounced /ˈlayrd) is a member of the gentry and is a heritable title in Scotland. In the non-peerage table of precedence, a Laird ranks below a Baron and above an Esquire.)
